Would love another playful dog in her new home for company, but will be happy as an only dog if she's included in her human's activities and life.

Crate trained
Kid friendly. We are recommending 10 and over, because littles could get knocked over with her excited play.

Intelligent girl who has already learned 'sit, here, kennel, up, down, no ma'am' and would love to learn more if taught.
Rides well in the car.

She is not a needy girl, can be independent at times, but does still like the companionship of her humans.
Really loud noises scare her, so a suburban life with a 6' fenced yard would be best for her.
Apartments will not be considered.

Ferris
Waiting in Texas to come to the PNW or Colorado
FERRIS is a fun, outdoorsy, athletic 2 year old Australian Cattle dog mix looking for an active home to live life.
An energetic guy who would be a perfect hiking partner with his great recall and love of adventures.
Ferris loves to be outside, running, playing chase, keep away and of course, getting belly rubs.
A sweet, loving guy who wants to be included in his human's life.
Housetrained
Crate trained
Good with all active female dogs who want to play, but gets intimidated by male dogs.
He would also be happy as an only dog with an active human.
Intelligent guy who has learned basic commands 'sit, crate, come inside' and would love to learn more if taught.
Very food motivated.
Listens well to his human and wants to please.
Rides well in the car.
Sleeps through the night in his crate, but he'd be happy on a dog bed in your room.
Walks ok on leash, but still working on perfecting his leash manners.
Ferris is not an anxious guy and does not have any separation anxiety when left alone for a few hours.
Not a big barker, but will 'talk' to the squirrels and is vocal in initiating play.
Best with older children, due to his energy level.
Has not been cat tested, so we will not be adopting him to a home with cats.
Only homes with a fenced yard where he will not be left alone for long hours will be considered.
Ferris is 55 lbs. neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention.
*In addition to his adoption fee, there is a transport fee to bring this athletic boy to Colorado or the PNW.
If you are interested in adding Ferris to your family, you may fill out our application on our website at: https://www.westernaustralianshepherdrescue.com/adoption-application.html. We only schedule meet n greets with a completed application that includes reference checks and a home visit.

Sugar
Waiting in Texas to come to the PNW or Colorado
Sugar is a sweet goofy 10 month old lab aussie mix who weighs 60 pounds
She is house and crate trained
She has good manners inside her foster home and when in the backyard.
Not a barker except to say hello.
She sleeps in her crate at night.
All doggie friends big and small and male and female are A- ok with Sugar.
She chases chickens so no cats for her.
Kids 10 years and older would be best.
She walks fine on a leash but continued training for this young gal and her new owner would set everyone up for success. She's very intelligent and trainable.
Sugar could enjoy running and/or hiking with her family though she's a medium energy gal.
She rides well in a car.
Commands she knows are sit, come, stay.
She does not need another dog in the home but doggie friends are very welcome.
Her faves are playing, swimming, hanging out inside her home and FOOD!
It's easy to see when Sugar is happy cause her tail goes round and round like helicopter propellers.
Social, happy, Goofy and sweet. What's not to love?!
Spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention.
In addition to her adoption fee, Dixie can be transported to CO, WA or OR for an additional fee.
