TEDDY is a laid back, affectionate 2 year old Border Collie Australian Cattle dog mix looking for his forever family to love and include him in their lives.
This boy loves to be pet, get belly rubs, give kisses and gives great hugs.
Dog friendly and would enjoy a playmate in his new home.
Lower - moderate energy guy who would make a great walking companion.
Running and long hikes are not his thing, but playing with humans and other dogs is fun. Shorter hikes would be good for him.
Housetrained with wonderful manners.
Crate trained.
Smart guy who has already learned 'sit, down, place, leave it' and would love to learn more.

Enjoys playing fetch and will gently drop the ball at your feet or let you take it from his mouth for you to throw it again.
Walks well on leash.
He actually likes to carry his leash in his mouth to walk himself.
Likes running through the sprinklers and playing in the kiddie pool, which he thinks is a giant water bowl.
Perfect car rider. Just sits or lays down in the back seat and enjoys the trip.
Not destructive inside or outside.
Sleeps through the night on a dog bed in his foster's room.
Would be a great boy to take to work because he loves all people, other dogs and is a laid back guy.
He is learning to leave the cats alone in his foster home.
Children over 8 recommended, just because he gets excited when playing and could knock over littles.
Teddy is 69 lbs. (and could stand to lose a few lbs.) neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention.

He is being fostered in Texas. In addition to his adoption fee, can go on transport to his adopter in the PNW for $175.

Lilith
Waiting in Texas to come to the PNW

Lilith is an approximately four year old Border Collie Kelpie Heeler mix. She weighs 43lbs. Lilith does well with other dogs but not with cats. She is very sweet but a little skeptical of new people. She had a rough time in the shelter environment but has thrived in her foster home. Lilith isn’t motivated by toys but is food motivated and enjoys praise. She resource guards her food so she is fed separately from other dogs. Her ideal home would be with adults and older children or no children because loud noises and a lot of action makes her nervous. She is current on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and completing heartworm treatment in August.

Lilith is currently fostered in Texas and looking for her new home in the PNW. If you are interested in adopting Lilith you may fill out our application on our website at: https://www.westernaustralianshepherdrescue.com/adoption-application.html. We only schedule meet n greets with a completed application that includes reference checks and a home visit.

RANGER is a playful, friendly, intelligent 3 year old Australian Cattle dog looking for a home where he can go on adventures with his people and be an included family member.
Will be a great running and hiking partner with his endurance, but also enjoys lounging around napping after getting some exercise.
This amazing boy loves to be mentally and physically challenged outside and hang with his people inside.
Loves people!! His favorite thing in the whole world is to spend quality time playing and interacting with his humans.
Can be independent, but likes to lay calmly by your feet while you work or watch tv.
Enjoys catching balls mid air, playing fetch, doing/learning new tricks, getting belly rubs and laying on his blanket fresh out of the dryer.
Housetrained and will go sit by the door to let you know he needs out.
Crate trained.
Dog friendly, currently lives with another dog.
Would also be happy as your only dog, getting all of your 'pets' and play time.
Cat friendly. Will not chase, growl or bark at cats. He chooses not to engage.
Kid friendly, would be best with children over 8 who will play and throw a ball/frisbee for him.
Great house manners, not destructive at all inside or outside.
Smart boy who knows many commands: 'sit, stay, down, jump, turn around, paw, crate, outside, potty' and would love to learn more.
Very food motivated guy, so easy to train new things.
Not an incessant barker, but will let you know if someone is at your door or if he gets overly excited, he will bark a little, but redirects easily when asked.
Sleeps through the night on his own dog bed.
Walks ok on leash, but like most dogs will need some work/training by his new people.
Great car rider. Sits and enjoys the trip.
Only homes with a fenced yard where he will also get some exercise outside of the yard can be considered for this guy.
His ideal home would be an active family who will enjoy playing with him and including him in their lives.
Ranger is 63 lbs. neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative and current on prevention.

*He is being fostered in Texas. In addition to his adoption fee, he can be transported to the PNW for $175.

Roxy
Waiting in Texas to come to the PNW

Female Shepherd/Kelpie Mix
50lb and 6 years young
Best feature: SUPER Friendly with all people

Get to know Roxy:
Sweet Roxy even smiles for her pictures :) Roxy would LOVE to have a family to call her own.  She is past those puppy days, so she is house trained and crate trained, and a well behaved dog knowing commands sit and shake.  Her energy level is still very active and she loves being outdoors, running around, chewing an elk bone, burying toys and chasing squirrels.  Her forever family needs to have time to devote to this lovable shepherd.  She thrives from being around people and being the center of attention, so she would do best as an only dog in her household.  She is a fairly quiet doggy companion and rarely barks. She is considered a moderately high energy breed that will need daily exercise and mental stimulation.

Roxy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, microchipped, and currently treated for heartworms and on prevention.  She is fostered in Texas and would love to find a home in Oregon.  In addition to an adoption fee, there is a $175 non-refundable transportation fee and $50 health certificate fee to bring Roxy to her forever home in the PNW.
